For those who do not know what the case Rendlesham Forest, Bentwaters or, depending on whether they identify with the forest or the military base at which it occurred in England in 1980, is certainly the most important UFO event in Britain and one of the most important worldwide. Not long ago I posted a short article that briefly summarizes the events that are below this update.
What makes this case so important is the quantity and quality of witnesses. All the principal witnesses at the time of this event were on duty at the military base of Bentwaters. This base on British soil was particularly important because it housed a detachment of U.S. in NATO and, despite what was officially denied, it housed several nuclear warheads.
Even the base commander, Colonel Halt, of which we quote the statement, he had witnessed and then testified in his coinvoglimento events. What was missing, the icing on the cake, for this case was and is already so basically what you want inataccabile be skeptical, it was a movie object landed near the base. Well it is news of a few days ago that October 23 will be shown for the first time a film made on the night of December 27, 1980 by a former officer in the American military police base, Larry Warren, which he said, confirms what many people they believe happened on that occasion. We do not know what exactly, but we hope to see him as soon as possible, we hope to eventually take his hands a beautiful "smoking gun".

follows the original article:
"WAS EXTRATERRESTRIAL": the Col.Charles I. Halt confirms that the object
Benwaters that landed in 1980 was extraterrestrial.

"I want to clarify that I saw the UFO
was structured a vehicle moving under intelligent control
and that operated beyond anything I've seen before and after then.
I am convinced that the object I saw was a short distance from the source
extraterrestrial and that the English and American security services and was
complicit in groped to reverse the meaning of what happened
in Rendlesham through the use of proven methods of disinformation. "
Colonel Halt's original memo
This is the statement that Colonel Charles I. Halt, a former base commander of Bentwaters, issued July 17 this year.
The facts date back to December 1980 when the Cold War tensions were still far attenuation. This is the context of the American presence on the ground in the English RAF base at Bentwaters, between Rendlesham Forest.
On the night of December 28, the then deputy base commander, Colonel Halt was a witness along with a dozen other members of the base of what was later considered the most credible UFO episode in which they are involved in military service.
Two nights before John Burroughs, airman first class, and sergemte Bud Steffens, had seen the unusual colored lights over the trees to the east entrance of the base. On the way to approach them in turn were approached by another bright object.
Back at the base reported their sighting to the body responsible for surveillance, which sent two other military support. Sergeant Jim Penniston Cabansag and Ed, along with Burroughs went back on the site of the sighting. Due to the poor condition of the road left the vehicle and headed for the trees to the forest.
At first light rose over the treetops and the soldiers threw themselves on the ground then continuing to protect the vehicle failed to see a triangular shape lying on the ground. Penniston was the one that is closer, to touch the object that describes a material made of hard and glassy. This glass surface was even able to distinguish certain symbols, which he took care to write in a notebook. In fact, the experience, especially involving Penniston and Burroughs, had many other aspects that involved a period of missing time and a seemingly telepathic contact.
On 28 December, after two days, the lights came back in Rendlesham Forest. Since the first was confirmed by many reliable witnesses, was taken seriously and were prepared official reports. For this reason, when the objects were again reported in the vicinity of the base officers wanted to investigate personally. Among these, the deputy commander Halt.
The group of soldiers went to the scene of the sighting and also spotted the mysterious lights themselves. Colonel Halt reported to have observed, together with other soldiers, changing the form of a luminous object from which they separated five other smaller items. One of the objects also projected a coherent beam of white light towards the ground, near the weapons storage area. (It has never been confirmed, but probably the basis of contained nuclear warheads).
The statement that you find at the beginning, was released only this year, after 29 years thanks to the work of British researcher Gary Heseltine. Halt is finally convinced that it was time to take a definite position about the incident of 1980. The two had met during the making of a documentary.
The Bentwaters incident assumes importance since then a further corroborated by official statements of several military witnesses.
